Advocate Yagyaman Shakya, graduate of Faculty of Law, Delhi University has been associated with this firm for more than 15 years. He has specialization in labour law and has worked extensively in the areas of labour law while working for the Employers’ Council, a permanent body of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, (FNCCI), apex private sector organization of Nepal. He was a member of Labour Law drafting committee formed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLTM). He has acquired various international trainings in the areas of labour law and social security. His extensive experience in the labour law issues of the private sector enterprises during his association with the FNCCI has provided a strong base to the firm in the management of the labour law related cases and advisory services to the clients. The firm has, over the years, provided various legal services on labour law issues of various companies and undertaken a number of research activities using the expertise of Mr. Shakya.
Mr. Shakya, has a valuable experience of working with Mr. Mahesh Chandra Mehta, a prominent Environmental Lawyer and Activist of India and Late Bharat Raj Upreti, Surpeme Court judge and prominent corporate lawyer of Nepal.
